Ministry of Hajj slapped 50,000 riyals fine on 10 companies on failing to serve the pilgrims


The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia issued penalties against 10 Umrah companies, amounting 50,000 riyals per company, for their failure and breach of the duties and legal obligations provided to Umrah pilgrims, specifically violations related to housing and transportation services. The Ministry of Hajj confirmed that it will not allow or tolerate any failure that affects the service of the pilgrims, and said that it will continue to protect the rights of the pilgrims with service providers, by continuing the work of monitoring torus on all service sites. - The Ministry also said that it will interact with reports of pilgrims by taking all legal measures to hold defaulters accountable, in an effort to raise the level of quality and services provided to the pilgrims and to preserve their safety.





- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also called on all pilgrims from inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wishing to perform the rituals of Umrah to the necessity of dealing with facilities licensed by the competent authorities to organize trips and to choose accommodation facilities and means of transport by the concerned authorities in order to preserve their rights and to ensure the service is provided to them.
