Launching Express transportation service between King Abdulaziz International Airport and Jeddah Central
The Jeddah Transport Company will launch airport express transport service between King Abdulaziz International Airport and downtown Jeddah, in cooperation with the Jeddah Airports Company and the Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO), as per the framework of developing public transport services in Jeddah.
According to the Jeddah Municipality, the airport express bus service inside the King Abdulaziz International Airport will operate around the clock during the week and will be link to the city center.
- This comes within the join cooperation to develop bus transport services to and from Jeddah's International Airport, specifically Terminal 1, as well as between Terminal 1 and Northern Terminal 2. In order to provide the best transportation services to serve all segments of society at an amount of 15 riyals with various options for travelers to move from and to the airport. - Jeddah Airports Company to allocate a bus stop in the departure and arrival areas of the Jeddah's airport, Terminal No. 1, including allocating a waiting station in front of the bus stop sites in the arrival area, While Terminal No. 1 will soon be connected to the Northern Terminal No. 2, In addition to the airport and SAPTCO stations in Al-Balad, the route includes 3 stops, first near Flamingo Mall, second near AL-Andalus Mall and the the third on the Madina Road descending in Al-Baghdadiah District 7.
- Jeddah Transport Company or its representative to follow up the performance of the service and what is it is followed by adherence to the towing schedule, the cleanliness of the bus internally and externally and the safety of its equipment, in addition to coordinating with government and private agencies operating at King Abdulaziz International Airport to facilitate the implementation of the bus transportation service from and to Terminal 1 of the airport.
- This buses were designed for a capacity of 33 passengers, in addition to places designated for people with disabilities, empty places to pub travel bags. Those wishing to use these buses can also purchase tickets through a number of sales points designated inside the airport or using the SAPTCO application for payment.
