King Salman orders more Eid Al-Fitr holidays for students
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia's King Salman has directed to amend the start of the Eid Al-Fitr holidays for all students (Boys and Girls) at the level of public education and universities to begin from the end of the Thursday (21st April, 2022), 20th Ramadan 1443. King Salman has issued the order to reschedule 4 days before the beginning of Eid holidays, which were supposed to start from the end of Monday (25th April 2022), 24th Ramadan 1443, as per their academic schedule, reported Saudi Press Agency. - The decision of prepone the beginning of Eid holidays has taken out of the keenness of the King and as per the recommendation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Deputy premier and Minister of Defense, in order to ease the boy and girl students and it applies to all schools and universities.
- Earlier this, the Ministry of Education said schools to remain open until the 24th of Ramadan, before a 12-day Eid vacation.
