Ministry of Health highlights the importance of Booster dose of Corona vaccine, It targets 3 categories
The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia confirmed that the booster dose of the corona vaccine is very important to increase the immunity of the body and maintain it at a high level, and it can be taken 3 months after receiving the 2nd dose.
The Ministry of Health through its official Twitter account explained that booster dose targets below 3 categories.
1. For all those who are 16 years and above
2. For people with chronic diseases

- The Ministry also explained the importance of the booster dose in the following
* It will boost immunity and prevent infection
* Reduces mild and moderate symptoms by more than 70% in case of infection.

- Today (On 15th April), The Ministry of Health announced 105 new corona infections, 265 recoveries and 3 deaths in the last 24 hours, after performing 11,476 covid-19 tests.
- So far, Saudi Arabia reported 752,396 corona cases of them 738,531 recovered while 9,066 people left this world due to the complications with the virus, as of now the health ministry has performed 41,727,951 corona tests.
- Kingdom's active corona cases stands at 4,799 of them 62 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares. Riyadh tops in the list with 1,313 active cases, Jeddah with 1,006, Makkah with 665, Madina with 354 active covid-19 cases. Join Saudi Expatriates imo channel
- Saudi Arabia's government has provided over 63.7 million (63,704,037) doses of corona vaccine all over the Kingdom and its regions, of them 12,684,901 are booster doses, 24,673,165 are second doses and 26,345,917 first doses and the elderly people received 1,956,338 doses of vaccine against corona virus.
