Saudi Arabia approves Unified National Platform for Visas, Human Resources is responsible for requests of Work Visas

Saudi Cabinet approves Unified National Platform for Visas, Ministry of Human Resources is responsible for requests of Work Visas
The Council of Ministers headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud via video conference approved the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visa Platform currently in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be the Unified National Platform for Visas.
The decision also states that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development through its platform will be responsible for all work visa applications submitted by natural or legal persons and send them to the Unified National Platform for Visas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- The e-visa services platform permits citizens to request family visit, as well as request a personal visit, which is a service to request a visit to friends or people who do not have a business relationship or family kinship. - The Unified National Platform will also allows a request to extend a return visa, a service that permits a citizen to request a return extension for his sponsored, whose visa has expired.
- The platform will also provide an authorization request on a work visa, which is a service for requesting an authorization for a work visa to bring in people from foreign countries, in addition to a request to approve requests for individuals, a service that permits the employer to certify family visit requests from workers.
