Hajj Ministry announces the results of electronic draw of Domestic pilgrims for Hajj 2022
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia announced that SMS message will be sent to the domestic pilgrims who are qualified within the draw for Hajj 2022 (1443 AH), in preparation for the completion of the payment within 48 hours by the approved payment methods.
The Ministry revealed that 297,444 application have been registered in the electronic draw for citizens and resident expatriates from inside the Kingdom for this Hajj season, of them 62% are males and 38% are females.
- The Ministry further explained that, the total number of completed exceeded 217,000 through Eatmarna application and website, and SMS message will be sent to the qualified in preparation for completing the payment within 48 hours by the approved payments. - The youth group from 31 to 40 years of age constituted the highest percentage of total requests at 38%, after them the age group of 21 to 30 years at a rate of 23%, then age group of 41 to 50 years with a percentage of 21%, while 12% are from the age group of 51 to 65 years and the lowest category is of below 20 years of age.
- The qualified pilgrims in the electronic draw go through the selection process of most notably, age should not be more than 65 years and vaccination is complete as per the Tawakkalna application.
- The Ministry explained that the excluded requests constituted a very small percentage of the total requests. The reasons for exclusion is failure on meeting the conditions or mismatch of data with applicant status, failure of individual within a single application to meet one of the conditions, it was allowed to modify applications and add services during the 10-days registration period. - The verification of all registered applications was done once after the deadline of fulfilment of the conditions, without precedence in registration, and all inquiries and suggestions can be sent via email care@haj.gov.sa or the unified number 920002814, including at a customer service account of Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (@MOHU_Care) on Twitter.
