King Fahd Causeway clarifies the required procedures for travel of Domestic Workers
The King Fahd Causeway Public Corporation announced the procedures for travel of domestic workers of Saudi nationals and Gulf nationals to come to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or Kingdom of Bahrain. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Linkedin
The authority explained what is required for domestic workers to come to Saudi Arabia is a valid iqama, medical insurance, valid passport and the attendant of the employer or his family.
- While in order to travel to Bahrain, what is required for domestic workers is a valid residency permit in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, a valid passport and the attendant of the employer or his family. Conditions for traveling across the King Fahd Causeway :
The King Fahd Causeway Public Corporation had directed the necessity of providing and fulfilling all necessary procedures for travel across the Causeway, especially with regard to Corona vaccine.
- The authority said that, adults should receive 3 doses of Corona vaccine, in addition to those who did not exceed 3 months after receiving the 2nd dose.
- The King Fahd Foundation stated that it is required to receive 2 doses of corona vaccine for people below 16 years of age traveling to Bahrain and while for children below 12 years of age must have insurance against Corona, regardless of their immunization status. - While for domestic workers, the King Fahd Causeway Foundation said that domestic workers must be Immune in Tawakkalna and accompany the sponsor or whoever bears his name (Sons and Daughters).
