Saudi Arabia announces Eid Al-Adha holidays for Private and non-Profit sectors
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia has announced the date of Eid Al-Adha holidays for private and the non-profit sectors. Recommend : Official Holidays, Leaves and Vacations as per Saudi Labor Law
The Ministry said that Eid Al-Adha holidays for the private and non-profit sectors will last for 4 days, starting from the Day of Standing in Arafat on 9th of Dhu Al-Hijjah (8th July 2022) until the end of 12th Dhu Al-Hijjah (11th July 2022).
- The Ministry of Human Resources also noted the need to take into account the cases of overlap stipulated in Article 24 of the Executive regulations of Saudi Labor Law.
- Earlier this, the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia announced that 8th July (Friday) will be the day of standing at Arafat, marking the climax of annual Hajj pilgrimage and the first day of Eid Al-Adha will be on Saturday, 9th July 2022. Read : 4 days holidays for each Eid in private sector workers
