Saudi Arabia warns Employers against allowing their workers to work for others or for Workers own benefit


The Public Security and Jawazat in Saudi Arabia has warned individual employers who allow their workers to work for others or allowing to work for workers own benefit, as this attracts imprisonment and heavy fine. The authorities revealed that such employers to face a maximum of 100,000 riyals fine and jail term of up to 6 months, including a recruitment ban for a period of up to 5 years.

- The Article 39 of Saudi Labor Law states that, an employer should not allow his employee to work for others and a worker must not work for other employers or sponsors. Trending : 3-Years ban from entering into Saudi Arabia for those expats who failed to return on exit re-entry visa

- Similarly, an employer should not hire workers of other employers. An employer should also make sure that his employee is not working for his own benefit.





- The Saudi Public Security and Saudi Jawazat called on the citizens and residents to report the authorities in case of any violations of residency, labor and border security regulations through the number 911 in Makkah and Riyadh regions and through the number 999 in all other regions of the Kingdom.
