Bookings for Umrah started through Eatmarna application, permits available from 1st Muharram
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has confirmed that it has started receiving requests for issuing Umrah permits for local and international pilgrims through the Eatmarna application. Most Viewed : Jeddah airport allows shipping of Zamzam packages for pilgrims
The Hajj Ministry said that it has started issuing permits for Umrah starting from the new Umrah Season from 1st Muharram 1444 (30th July 2022).
- The Ministry clarified that, the issued permit will be cancelled of someone who is proven to have been infected with Covid-19 or had contact with an infected person, as per the terms and regulations issued by the ministry for issuance of Umrah permits and for the entry into the Makkah's Grand Mosque. - These requirements also include verification of the health status of the pilgrim through Tawakkalna app. Compliance with the regulations like wearing mask throughout the period of the pilgrim's presence inside the Grand Mosque, leave the Grand Mosque after completion of the performance of Umrah rituals, and not to carry any unauthorized bags, luggage while entering into the Holy Mosque.
- The Ministry of Hajj further said that Saudi nationals and resident expatriates inside the Kingdom can book and get issued permits through Eatmarna application. While citizens and residents of the GCC states and pilgrims from outside the Kingdom and GCC states can also get Umrah permit through the Eatmarna application in the easiest and simplest procedures and steps available.
- The issuance of Umrah visa through Eatmarna application will be as per the integrated system of health services and measures approved by the concerned authorities to maintain the safety and health of pilgrims and visitors, within easy procedures that ensure the performance of the Umrah rituals. - Eatmarna application has a number of options for booking appointment as per the capacity of the Makkah Grand Mosque around the clock. The application also states a number of instructions to enter the Two Holy Mosques.
- The reservation's page on the application shows the indicator and capacity of reservations through colors for all days of the month effective from 30th July. It show explicitly the possibility of reserving and availability of confirmation, with the help of various colors like green for light crowding, orange for medium crowding, red for heavy crowding and gray to indicate unavailability of appointments.
- The Ministry had started receiving requests to issue visas for pilgrims from outside the Kingdom from 14th July, they can come and perform Umrah from 1st Muharram.
