Saudi Environmental Security reveals the fine for setting Fire in places other than the designated
The Special Forces for Environmental Security in Saudi Arabia confirmed that the penalty for setting fire in places other than the designated for it in forests or national parks is a fine of up to 3,000 riyals. Read : Decision to ban the cultivation of palm trees in Gardens and roads
The authority called the forces to report any cases that constitute an attack on environment or wildlife on the toll free number 911 in the regions of Makkah and Riyadh, while for the rest of the regions of the Kingdom can call on 999 and 996.
- Yesterday, The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested 24 violators, of them 14 are Saudi citizens, 8 residents of the Sudanese nationality, one Indian and one Yemeni national, who committed violations of grazing 730 camels and 300 sheeps, in places where grazing is prohibited in a number of regions of the Kingdom. Recommend : Saudi Arabia to impose 10 years jail and 30 million fine for cutting down trees, plants
- The Environment Security explained that the legal measures have been applied against violators, highlighting that the penalty for violating camel grazing is a fine of up to 500 riyals per head and the penalty for violating sheep grazing is a fine of up to 200 riyals per head.
