This year Kaaba Kiswah to be replaced on the 1st Muharram instead of 9th Dhu Al-Hijjah
The General President for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais announced the delivery of the Kaaba Kiswah from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to chief guardian of the Holy Kaaba will be on the blessed day of Eid Al-Adha (10th Dhu Al-Hijjah 1443) and the replacement of Kaaba Kiswah will be on the first day of Muharram 1444 AH.
The Holy Kaaba Kiswah is made up of raw silk dyed black and is decorated with Quranic verses that are embroided onto the cloth with gold-plated thread. - Al-Sudais highlighted the wise leadership is proactive in everything that would raise the level of services provided in the Two Holy Mosques, and the holy Kaaba has given most of its attention by taking care of it and maintaining its covering and replacing it with new one every year, because of its great sanctity to the Muslims.
- The President added that, God has honored us by taking care of His Sacred House and has chosen this blessed country to carry out its affairs and to serve its visitors. From this point of view, we call upon all of us to do more relentlessly for the sake of care and perfection of work, to achieve the aspirations and directives of the wise leadership, highlighting that the Kingdom's leadership, government and people are honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques based on its Islamic duty towards the purest and most honorable places on earth. - Al-Sudais called on to preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince, the Trustee, in the clothes of health and wellness and to crown all efforts with success, and to accept their Hajj pilgrimage from the guests of Most Merciful and bring them back to their homeland safely and securely.
