Dammam's King Fahd International Airport announces new Baggage policies for Travelers
Dammam's King Fahd International Airport in Saudi Arabia announced the new policies related to checked baggage for its outgoing flights from the airport. Read : Travelers must disclose their financial value exceed the permissible limit
The Dammam Airport Company (DACO) called everyone, before heading to the airport, it is important to know the checked baggage policy. According to the infographic the Checked baggage guidelines are as follows.
Sample of Baggage Allowed :
* Baggage with at least one flat surface, Within the length of 76 cm, breadth of 51 cm and width of 31 cm.
* Properly packed boxes with a flat surface, within the length of 76 cm, breadth of 51 cm, and width of 31 cm.
* Regular shaped travel baggage. Recommend : Airlines obligated to compensate passengers for delayed luggage
Sample of Baggage Not Allowed :
* Round and irregular shaped baggage.
* Irregular shaped bags tied with rope.

- King Fahd International Airport confirmed that these policies allow carrying baggage with at least one flat surface, and properly packed boxes with a flat surface, in addition to normal travel baggage.
- The new policy prohibited round and irregular shaped baggage, baggage with loose rope and baggage with long straps.
