Saudi Labor Law rejects discriminations in Employment - HR Specialist
The Human Resources specialist in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Majed Al-Quait said that the Article 3 of Saudi Labor Law rejects discrimination in employment. Trending : Rights of worker upon termination of indefinite work contract
During his interview on Al-Ikhbariya, Al-Quait said that Article 3 of Saudi Labor Law states that "citizens are equal in the right to work".
Article (3) of Saudi Labor Law : Work is the right of every citizen. No one else may exercise such right unless the conditions provided for in this Law are fulfilled. All citizens are equal in the right to work. Read : 60-days notice period required to end the work contract
- He added that, the work law does not allow any form of discrimination whether in Age, Disability or Other, in job advertisements or in the stages of employee selection or appointment.
- The Saudi Labor Law stipulates that work is a right of the citizen and no one else may exercise is except after fulfilling the conditions specified in this Law, with the obligation of the employer and the worker when applying the provisions of this Law to the requirements of the provisions of Islamic Sharia.
