Cancellation of the requirement of Corona Insurance for children while traveling abroad
The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) in Saudi Arabia announced the cancellation of the requirements that citizens traveling outside the Kingdom to obtain travel insurance to cover the risks of Covid-19 for those who are below 12 years of age. This came in response to a question to which the Health Council said, The requirement for citizens traveling outside the Kingdom to obtain travel insurance to cover the risks of Corona virus has been cancelled. We are always happy to serve you, wishing you good health.

- Jawazat through its official Twitter account said that the requirements for Saudi citizens to travel abroad include the passport's expiry date, which must be more than 3 months for traveling to Arab countries and more than 6 months for traveling to other countries.
- The conditions include that more than 3 months remain on the expiry date of the National ID when traveling to the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries.
- Jawazat further clarified that National Identity in Absher, Tawakkalna does not allow people to travel outside the Kingdom, the original card and family record must be brought, in addition to a document of proof of dependents inside the Kingdom and does not allow its holder to travel to the Gulf countries. - The General Directorate of Passports confirmed that compliance with the health requirements for citizens wishing to travel outside Saudi Arabia includes receiving 3 doses of corona vaccine, or no more than 3 months have passed since receiving 2nd dose, with the exception of the exempted groups, as per their status in Tawakkalna.
