SAUDI EXPATRIATES

On arrival of the Saudi Crown Prince to the Makkah's Grand Mosque, accompanied by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sports, he was received by the General President of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Sudais.

- The Saudi Crown Prince performed Tawaf around the Holy Kaaba and prayed 2 rakah's voluntary prayer. After that, Mohammed bin Salman went into the Holy Kaaba, where he was honored to wash it and then performed 2 rakah's of Sunnah. - In the honor of washing the Kaaba with Saudi Crown Prince, those who attended included Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Taif, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, member of the Council of Senior Scholars Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, and member of the Council of Senior Scholars Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Mutlaq, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Saad bin Nasser al-Shathri, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz Balila, and the guardians of the holy Kaaba.

- The annual customary washing of holy Kaaba was held using Zamzam water mixed with rose water, oud and other perfumes. The washing of the Holy Kaaba is as per the example set by the Prophet Muhammed.

- It is customary for the Saudi monarch or his representative to wash the Holy Kaaba from inside. Towels are used to wipe the walls of the Kaaba. The interior walls are cleansed with a white cloth dipped in rose and musk perfumes. Zamzam water mixed with rose perfume is splashed on the floor and is wiped with bare hands and palm leaves.
