Opening the reservations to perform Umrah for the month of Safar - Ministry of Hajj and Umrah

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah through its official Twitter account said, "Tomorrow, the first day of the month of Safar, reservations are available to perform Umrah".
- The Ministry had warned pilgrims coming from outside Saudi Arabia to avoid unlicensed companies, stating that, they need to check with licensed agents in your country, which you can get from Ministry's website. Recommend : The Minimum age to reserve Umrah permit is 5 years with a condition
- Earlier this, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Abdul Rahman Shams gave good news to those wishing to perform Umrah from outside the Kingdom.
- He said that, it was decided to make Umrah available to all holders of tourist visas, commercial visas and work visas, or those who hold any type of Saudi visa, as per the procedures organized through Eatmarna application. Read : All types of Saudi visa holders can perform Umrah
- Abdul Rahman highlighted that, this decision aim is to achieve the Kingdom's vision of reaching 30 million pilgrims annually by the year 2030.
Is Corona test required to perform Umrah?
Responding this question, the beneficiary Care account of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said, It is not required to submit a negative result for an approved PCR test before coming to the Kingdom stating that there is insurance to cover the costs of treatment from infection of Covid-19.
