Amendments to the list of Saudi Tourist Visa, GCC residents can apply for Saudi e-Visa and US, UK and EU residents can apply for Visa on Arrival
The Ministry of Tourism in Saudi Arabia announced amendments to the tourist visit visa regulation, which included expanding the eligible categories and providing more options for those wishing to visit the Kingdom for the purpose of Tourism. Join Saudi Expatriates on Telegram
According to the amended tourist visit visa regulation issued by the Minister of Tourism, Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib, Saudi Arabia welcomes the residents of the Gulf countries, as well as those who have Schengen visas or holders of a valid tourist or business visa of the United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (US), European Union (EU) and their residents.

GCC residents can now apply for Saudi Arabia's Tourist e-Visa :
- The Ministry of Tourism said those who have obtained a residence visa in one of the GCC States (UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain) can enter Saudi Arabia with an e-Visa for tourists. Which they can apply through visitsaudi.com/visa.
- However, there residence must be valid for a period of not less than 3 months, as per the professions published in the e-platform, which includes the first degree relatives of the residence visa holder coming with him and domestic workers coming with their sponsors.
US, UK and EU residents are now allowed to apply for Saudi Arabia's visa on Arrival :
- The amended regulation granted an exception for the holders of tourist or commercial visa from the USA, UK or one of the Schengen agreement countries, stating that it has been used at least once to enter the visa-granting country. - This includes first degree relatives of the visa holder coming with him, in addition to those who have permanent residence of United States, European Union and United Kingdom, including their first degree relatives of the visa holder coming with him, through visa upon arrival at any of the Kingdom's entry point (Land, Sea or Air ports).
