Jawazat provides only 7 days for Transfer of Service of Domestic workers
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia clarified that the transfer of job service of house or domestic workers will be carried out online within a maximum period of 7 days. See Also : Possibility of transferring a private driver into a company
The Saudi Jawazat said that the Job Transfer Approval Services allows expat domestic workers to accept or reject a request of transfer their services.
- The Passports department added that the transfer of service can be done by accessing to the Absher platform and then "My Services" then select "Services", click on "Passports" and then approvals of service transfer. Recommend : Job Transfer service is in accordance with the contracts documented between Employer and worker
- The Jawazat reminds that it is required to approve the transfer of service within 7 days. It is similar to the requests of transferring sponsorship for other professions through Qiwa platform.
- The service transfer of domestic workers can be done only if the present employer is ready to transfer the service. While the new employer must wait for approval from domestic worker, after which approval or rejection will be transferred. Read : More freedom to domestic workers on job transfers
