Regarding the penalty, the Public Prosecution explained through its official Twitter handle and in an infographic said that, the penalty is imprisonment for a period of up to 1 year and a fine of up to 500,000 riyals.

- The authority repeated that the sanctity of private life is one of the rights that are protected by law and order and it is prohibited to infringe on this matter through the misuse of mobile phones equipped with a camera or like.
