Ministry of Hajj and Umrah states 10 tips for Physical preparation before performing Umrah
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia clarified that there are several steps for physical preparation before coming and performing Umrah pilgrimage in the Grand Mosque of Makkah. Trending : Riyadh Season 2022 to launch on 21st October
The Ministry through its official Twitter handle said that the expected duration of the Tawaf (Circumambulation) and Safa Marwa Saee (Sayee) may take 2 hours, during which 560 calories are burned, pointing out that the distance between tawaf and Safa Marwa Saee (Sayee) is 10,000 steps.
- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah also provided several tips for physical preparation before Umrah with the following.
1. Reduce your food intake in general.
2. Avoid heavy foods. Read : Hayya card holders can perform Umrah
3. Drink enough fluids.
4. Get used to slight warm water.
5. Take a shower with warm water before coming to Holy Mosque.
6. Practicing walking in the day before preceding to Umrah.

8. Moisturizing the areas of excess weight to avoid walking scars.
9. Separate the time of arrival and the time of Umrah with relaxing hours.
