Prince Alwaleed bin Talal in Saudi Arabia announced the termination of the transfer of his share and that the Kingdom Holding Company in the current Twitter shares, at a valued of 7 billion riyals ($1.89 billion), to the new private Twitter company. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Twitter







Prince Alwaleed bin Talal through his Twitter published a statement stating that, "Dear friend 'Chief Twit' Elon Musk, Together all the way on Twitter". To which Elon Musk commented, "The bird is freed".

- The statement can be read as, "Kingdom Holding Company and the private office of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud announce the roll over of their ownership of the existing Twitter shares with 35,938,975 shares), which amounts to 7 billion riyals to the Twitter company". - The statement also said that, "In this way, the Kingdom Holding Company and the private office of His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will be the second largest shareholder in Twitter after Elon Musk".
