Departure is must for the extension of Multiple Visit Visa of Saudi Arabia - Jawazat
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia clarified that extension of Multiple Visit Visa is not possible without leaving the Kingdom, this comes after the social media users claims of extending multiple family visit visa online without leaving the Kingdom. Saudi Jawazat confirmed that the instructions for extending multiple entry visit visa requires compliance with the visa and departure regulations before the expiry of the multiple visit visa, which is departure after a period of 3 months.
- In case of a delay in the departure from the Kingdom before the expiry of Multiple visit visa, fines will be imposed on the violator, 3 days after its expiry date. See Also : Procedure to check the validity of medical insurance of visit visa holders
- The passports department denied the rumors circulated on social media over the past few days about allowing the extension of multiple entry family visit visa through the Absher platform, 7 days before its expiry without leaving the Kingdom, this is baseless and there is no truth in it.
- Earlier this, Jawazat confirmed that Single visit visa can be extended up to 180 days through host's Absher account and the extension is possible 7 days before the expiry of single visit visa of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
