Eating one meal per day is one of the cause of High Blood Pressure - Heart Consultant


According to a Cardiology and Arterial Catheterization consultant, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, eating only one meal per day is one of the causes of high blood pressure, advising to eat multiple meals in low quantity. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Instagram







The heart consultant through his Twitter explained that, the greater the number of daily meals in small quantity, the lower the average blood pressure regardless of other factors affecting that relationship. See Also : Nuts, meat and Legumes helps in a good sleep

- Dr. Al-Nimr said that, if a hypertensive patient forgets to take a medicine and remembers it on same day, he must take it, but in case he remembers that on the next day, he must take only current day medicine, he need not to double the dose, but rather takes usual dose.

- In order to protect from Stress, he suggested to do the following.





* Reduce Salt.

* Maintain an appropriate weight.

* Maintain enough sleep. Recommend : 20% of road accidents are due to lack of sleep

* Eat Fruits.


* Stay away from everything that causes stress and psychological pressure.
