Hajj Minister announces the extension of Umrah visa to 3 months for all nationalities pilgrims
The Minister of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah has announced that the Umrah visa has been extended from 1 month to 3 months for all the pilgrims of all nationalities. Download Saudi Expatriates App from Play Store
This came as an announcement from Al-Rabiah during his 2-days official visit to Tashkent, where the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Saudi minister as the conclusion of his visit.
- The official visit witnessed several meetings with a number of officials, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides in a number of fields, and discuss the vision for developing relations, disagreements between the two countries.
- The discussions also revolved around, especially after automating all services and providing these programs online through the “Nusuk” platform for issuing visit and Umrah visas.
- Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman to President Mirziyoyev and the Uzbek government and people and their wishes of further growth for Uzbekistan.
- They wished prosperity to Uzbekistan in light of the ongoing reforms that the republic is witnessing, highlighting that the visit is an extension of distinguished historical relations between the two countries and resulted in several cooperation agreements in various fields. - In the capital, Tashkent, Al-Rabiah met with Minister of Transport Makhmov Alkhum Rustamovich, Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization Shah Azim Minovarov, Mufti of Uzbekistan Nureddin Khaliq Nazrov, and Minister of Religious Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt. He confirmed some of Uzbekistan deepen bilateral relations between the two countries.
- During the visit, the ways to enhance bilateral strategic cooperation between the two sides in order to improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims of Uzbekistan were also considered including the number of flights between the two countries.
