Jawazat announced new procedures for entering Qatar through Salwa port and other ports leading to Qatar


The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia has confirmed its readiness to serve travelers wishing to attend the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.







Saudi Jawazat supported all the international ports with qualified human cadres and modern technical devices, in order to serve the travelers from their arrival until their departure and to finish their procedures with ease and comfort.

- Jawazat explained that starting from 1st November 2022 until 23rd December 2022, the procedures announced by the Qatari authorities will be implemented through the land and air ports leading to the State of Qatar for those wishing to attend the World Cup matches and the accompanying events, which were limited to allowing entry to holders of the Hayya card for travelers using the passport registered on the Hayya platform, with the exception of Qatar citizens and residents who holds a Qatari ID. - Jawazat added that travelers citizens, residents and tourists holding a Hayya card can contact the Unified Security Operations Center (911) to find out any relevant instructions, and all beneficiaries can visit the website of the Unified platform present at the link hereforyou.sa which aims to provide the necessary information to ensure a smooth journey for those wishing to attend the World Cup matches from within the Kingdom, in addition to visitors coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- The General Directorate of Passports in the Eastern Region announced the new procedures for entering through the Salwa port to Qatar, to attend the World Cup matches.

- The Ministry of Interior has completed all the necessary preparations to facilitate and procedures for travelers from all ports and at the recently opened Salwa port, in coordination with the Customs Authority has been made to increase the number of lanes designated for vehicles to 35 lanes. - A number of halls have been completed to accommodate the departures via buses, and each hall has 40 points to finish procedures for travelers.

- The requirements for Saudi nationals to travel to Qatar territory require them to received doses of Corona vaccine, while the age group from 12 to 16 requires 2 doses, while the group above 16 years requires 3 doses.

- Qatar has a number of conditions related to tickets to attend matches and Qatari citizens do not require any procedures to enter the country and all ports are in full cooperation with all concerned authorities in the country, in addition to the presence of a full operations room in each port.
