The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia announced the penalties for violating drifting and the procedures involved for repeating the violation, as per the Article (69) of the Traffic Law. Join Saudi Expatriates on Telegram







Saudi Moroor said that, for the first time the vehicle will be seized for 15 days in addition to a fine of 20,000 riyals and then referred to the competent court to consider applying the prison sentence against him, Moroor highlighted that rented and stolen vehicles are excluded from the penalties of seizure. - The penalty will be doubled for the second time and the vehicle will be seized for a month, a fine of 40,000 riyals will be imposed and the violator will be referred to the competent court to consider applying the prison sentence against him.





- Saudi Moroor added that repeating the act for the third time leads to the seizure of the vehicle and a fine of 60,000 riyals will be imposed on the violator, the he will be referred to the competent court to consider seizure of the vehicle or fine him to pay the same value for the rented or stolen vehicle and then imprison the violator.
