Penalty for intentionally damaging Public facilities in Saudi Arabia - Saudi Public Prosecution
The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia confirmed that public facilities are national projects aimed at achieving the public interest, growth and the continuity of community and service regeneration, with which these gains must be preserved and protected. The Public Prosecution through its official Twitter handle warned against deliberately or intentionally damaging any of the public utility installations or facilities and national projects or cuts the public facilities off or disrupts them, whether the offender is original or partner.
- The authority set the penalty for damaging public utilities as per the Public Facilities Protection Law as follows.
* Compensation of all damages caused to the facility or to third parties, including the costs of repairing the damage. Recommend : Penalties for forgery in electronic records, signatures and transactions
* Imprisonment for up to 2 years.
* A fine of up to 100,000 riyals.
