Health practitioners must report patients suspected of being infected with a criminal or Contagious disease
The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia said that the system of practicing health professions obliges the health practitioner to inform the security and health authorities about patients suspected of being criminally infected or infected with contagious disease. Join Saudi Expatriates on Telegram
The Public Prosecution through its official Twitter handle confirmed that, "The health practitioner practices his profession for the benefit of the individual and society within the scope of respect for the human right to life, safety and dignity". - The Prosecution stated that, The health practitioner must immediately inform the security, health and competent authorities, as soon as he sees his patient suspected of being criminally infected or suffering from an infectious disease.
