Saudi Arabia is working to become 1st country to produce Green and Blue Hydrogen - Al-Jubeir
The Minister of State of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Cabinet Member and Climate Affairs Envoy, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir confirmed that the Kingdom is making efforts to be the first country in producing green and blue hydrogen, as it considers itself an energy exporter, not just oil. Al-Jubeir stated that, renewable energy will fill the void when the world's energy needs increase and fossil energy cannot meet them, as there is a certain limit that the Saudi Arabia cannot, for example, exceed oil production, as fossil fuels will be required for decades to come.

- Al-Jubeir said that, the emotional dialogue and feelings regarding discussions of climate change and the environment, do not lead to anything, this may use lead to exploitation in short-term domestic political matters, but they do not serve to improve the climate or the environment.
