Seasonal Influenza Vaccine can be given to Children of 6 months and above - Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced that it is possible to start giving the seasonal flu vaccine to adults children of 6 months of age and above. Subscribe to Saudi Expatriates on YouTube
This came in response from Ministry's Health 937 Twitter handle, to an inquiry from a citizen, in which he asked, Is the seasonal flu vaccination suitable for children of any age?
- The Ministry of Health further said that the seasonal influenza vaccination campaign, if available, will be announced it through the official account of the Ministry of Health. See Also : Ideal sleeping hours required for human body of all age groups
- On Thursday, The Ministry of Health announced the availability of the shingles vaccine, which can be taken in two separate doses.
- The shingles vaccine help to protect adults from contracting shingles and its complications from infections and receiving the vaccine does not require any specific tests.
- The Ministry explained that, as per the current recommendations, two doses of the shingle vaccine are received at an interval period of 2 to 6 months, for the age group of 50 years and over. Recommend : Saudi Arabia introduces new educational long-term and short-term visas
