India cancels Air Suvidha form (Vaccination status form) for International Arrivals
India announced that Air Suvidha form will no longer required for the incoming international passengers from Tuesday, 22nd November 2022. Air Suvidha form is a self-declaration form of Covid-19 vaccination status that had to be filled by the incoming international travelers to India. A statement from the Civil Aviation ministry states that, "In the light of sustained declining Covid-19 trajectory and significant advances being made in Covid-19 vaccination coverage both globally as well as in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued revised Guidelines for International Arrivals".
- As per the revised guidelines of the health ministry in India, the submission of self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal stand discontinued. - The guidelines issued by the health ministry suggested that all passengers must preferably be fully vaccinated, as per the approved primary schedule of vaccination against corona virus in the country.
- Travelers must follow announcements regarding wearing masks and other protective measures made in the flight.
- Those who have covid-19 symptoms during their journey, the guidelines suggest that they should be isolated, they should be wearing mask, be separated from other passengers and then be shifted to an isolation facility for further treatment.
