Saudi Arabia approves Mandatory Insurance against Medical errors for Health practitioners


The Council of Ministers at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques approved the compulsory cooperative insurance against medical errors should include the health practitioners working in these specialties. Join Saudi Expatriates on Telegram channel







The disciplines covered by mandatory cooperative insurance include Nursing, Pharmacy, Anesthesiology, Midwifery, Laboratory and Diagnostic Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology technology and ambulance emergency medical services.

- The specialties also includes, Physio Therapy, Speech and Communication Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Nutrition (Intravenous Therapeutic Nutrition), Cardiology and Audiology, Orthopedics and withdrawing blood, Optics and Operation room technician. - This came under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi, of the session held by the Council of Ministers Today afternoon.





Exceptions for Humanitarian cases that require domestic workers more than permissible limit :

The Council of Ministers also approved the conditions and requirements necessary to exclude humanitarian cases that require domestic workers more than the permissible limit from paying the financial compensation stipulated in Clause (First) of the Cabinet’s decision. Similar : Financial fee on individuals for exceeding limit of domestic workers

Saudi Arabia approves the ownership of the Education Development Holding Company for State :
