Recruitment offices not responsible for Domestic Workers after 90 days of their arrival - Musaned


The Musaned platform within the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia confirmed that recruitment offices are not responsible for the domestic workers after the period of 90 days from the day of arrival in Saudi Arabia. The Musaned platform clarified that, it will responsible for the domestic workers that has been recruited only for 3 months from the date of their arrival and after this, the domestic worker is the responsibility of the employer. - This update is clarified in the terms of the contract said Musaned platform, calling those who want to have more information about recruiting domestic workers to visit the Musaned portal at musaned.com.sa/home

- The Musaned platform also stated that, the recruitment offices have the right to accept or reject recruiting requests that it receives from the employers. In case the recruitment offices accepts the employer's request, then they are obligated to provide the required specifications within the specified period and costs on the Musaned.




- During the probationary period, the beneficiary could prove the worker's rejection of working through the domestic workers dispute settlement committees or through licensee's documentation. Musaned launches the 2nd phase of the Domestic Labor Contract Documentation service :

The Musaned platform has launched the second phase of the service of documenting contracts of domestic workers inside the Kingdom, as a continuation of the 1st phase of the service, which was launched externally that targets domestic workers coming to work in Saudi Arabia.




- The second phase includes private employment contracts of domestic worker in Saudi Arabia, who do not have valid and documented contracts through Musaned. The Ministry called on those all who have domestic workers to ensure their existence of an existing work contract through Musaned platform.

- Those who do not have a valid contract, to document contracts, in order to preserve the rights of all contracting parties to make sure that the contract includes all necessary items, in a step that would contribute to improving the relationship contracts and reduce risks in the domestic labor recruitment market. - The documentation service will document tasks and responsibilities of each party, document the value of salary and determine the duration of the domestic worker's work. the service of documentation is available on Musaned at https://www.musaned.com.sa/app/contracts

- The Musaned portal confirmed its continuation of its work on developing the recruitment market and providing various services to improve and facilitate the quality of services provided to individuals and to resolve complaints and disputes that may occur between the contracting parties, in addition to ensuring their rights.
