Saudi Arabia discovered two new natural Gas fields in its Eastern region


The Minister of Energy in Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman announced that Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) discovered two unconventional natural gas fields in the Eastern province of the Kingdom. Most Viewed : Saudi Arabia to use its large quantities of Uranium commercially







The Minister revealed that, "Awtad" unconventional natural gas field was discovered southwest of the Ghawar field, 142 kilometers southwest of the city of Hofouf, after the gas flowed from the well (Awtad-108001) at a rate of 10 million standard cubic feet per day and 740 barrels of condensate.  See Also : New sites of Gold and Copper discovered in Saudi Arabia

- He continued and said that gas flowed from the well (Awtad-100921) at a rate of 16.9 million standard cubic feet per day and 165 barrels of condensate.





- Similarly, the "Al-Dahna" unconventional natural gas field was discovered, 230 kilometers from south, west of the city of Dhahran, after gas flowed from the well (Al-Dahna-4) at a rate of 8.1 million standard cubic feet per day and gas flowed from the well (Al-Dahna-370100) at a rate of 17.5 million standard cubic feet per day and 362 barrels of capacitors. - The Minister highlighted that the importance of these discoveries lies in strengthening the Kingdom's natural gas reserves, which contributes to supporting the Kingdom's strategies achieving the goals of the liquid fuel displacement program.
