In Pictures : Terminal 3 and 4 of Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport launched for International passengers


The Governor of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated the International Travel Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 of Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) on Monday (14th November 2022). See Also : Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport new Terminal 1







Along with the Governor of Riyadh, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser and the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Duailej and the number of Excellencies and Senior Civils and Military officials were attended the launch.

- Terminal Three and Terminal Four are designed to operate in a flexible manner to improve passenger services and facilitate travel procedures. The two terminals have 22 travel gates with 95 dedicated check-in counters and 12 self-service machines. Read : Penalty for non-disclosure of SR 60,000 or above, while traveling from Saudi Arabia

- King Khalid International Airport's Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 also include the latest technology to raise the level of operational services at the Riyadh Airport. The aviation yard was designed to accommodate wide body aircraft, adding a competitive advantage that qualifies the 2 terminals to receive giant Air carriers.





- The commercial spaces allocate to retail stores, duty free shops, restaurants and cafes increased in these terminals, along with 3 business lounges.

- The two terminals will be an important addition to the components of the Riyadh Airport and will support the total capacity of the airport with 13 million passengers per year. This expansion is just starting of the other expansions and future developments coming to the Riyadh's KKIA, as per the comprehensive plan said the GACA head, Al-Duailej. - While the Minister of Transport said that the 2 terminals will contribute to support international travel, which coincides with the launch of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar and the achievement of the national strategy of Transport and Logistics.
