The official Twitter handle of King Khalid International Airport announced it through its tweet stating, "Dear international travelers of KKIU, we would like to point out the plan for foreign airline operators to move international flights from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2, starting Monday, 12 noon of 12th December 2022".

- Earlier this, Riyadh's International airport announced the transfer of airline operators of international flights from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 and Terminal 4.
