Service of dividing Iqama fee does not apply to Domestic Workers in Saudi Arabia


The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia responded to an inquiry on the possibility of benefitting from the service of splitting iqama fees, in cases it is desired to split them for the benefit of domestic workers. Similar : Benefit of splitting iqama fee is not applicable on domestic workers








Saudi Jawazat in its response, confirmed that splitting the iqama fee is not applicable on domestic workers, as they are excluded from issuing and renewing iqamas related to work permits.

- Jawazat clarified that the duration of iqama (annual, half-yearly, quarterly) affects the fragmentation of obtaining the value of a work permit, iqama and the financial consideration, fees required for issuing iqamas. - Earlier this, Jawazat explained that, in order to extend the multiple family visit visa, it is require for the applicant to adhere to the visa controls and departure before the visa expires, stating that, delay fine will be imposed 3 days after the expiry of its validity.

- While, extension of single family visit visa, it can be extended online through the host's Absher account, 7 days before its expiry date. However the visitor must have medical insurance in order to complete the procedure, and the single visit visa extension must not exceed 180 days.
