India makes Negative Corona report must for people coming from 5 countries
The Minister of Health in India, Mansukh Mandavia announced that, it is mandatory to provide proof of negative Covid-19 test for those coming from the mentioned 5 countries. Trending : Random testing of Corona returns for International arrivals at Indian airports
Travelers coming from these 5 countries, need to provide mandatory Corona test negative report.
1. China
2. Japan
3. South Korea
4. Hong Kong and

- The Indian Minister explained that those coming from the above countries will be subject to quarantine, if they show symptoms of Corona, or if their tests are positive.
- The Minister also posted images of tests being conducted at the International arrivals in the Indian capital city, New Delhi. Mandaviya clarified that Indian government had no plans yet to halt flights from countries where new cases have been reported.
- On Thursday, in Indian Parliament he referred that, an increase in cases in neighboring country China, lead him to go for the new rules. The Minister called the state governments to increase surveillance for any new Coronavirus variants and send samples of all positive cases to genome sequencing laboratories. - As per the Indian media reports, a few cases of BF.7 - the Omicron subvariant that is currently surge in China have been found in India.
- Meanwhile, Indian Medical Association (IMA) of top doctor's appealed to people to wear face masks in public places and get vaccine boosters.
