SAUDI EXPATRIATES

Jawazat now provides "Absher Travel" service through the Absher platform, which allows pre-registration for travelers including their accompanying persons and the vehicle used to travel through the Absher platform, before crossing the port, as a message will be sent to the those registered in the service, in case of crowding, to avoid crowding and shorten the time of passers-by, knowing that the application of the first phase of this service will be limited for Jawazat of King Fahd Causeway (Saudi-Bahrain) border crossing.

- The second new service of Absher allows in payment of government payments for the services of issuing and renewing the digital passport of Saudi Arabia. It allows the Saudi nationals to pay the fees for issuing and renewing the passport through Absher, in addition to other bank payment channels. - The third service is "View of the Saudi Passport as a Digital identity", which allows the Saudi nationals to view a digital image of their passport.

- While for resident to view their digital identity of dependents, allowing them to view the digital ID of their family members and use it to refer to it when ever required.

- Jawazat will also continue to receive requests from citizens of the age group 21 years and above, who wish to renew their passport through Ministry of Interior's Absher platform, after this service is launched in the system. Read : Visitor visa extension can be done 7 days before its expiry

- This step requires to visit the region's passport department after completing their passport renewal application, in order to examine the previous passport.
