Start of requirement to register Fingerprint for issuing Umrah visa online for 5 countries
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia on Friday announced the start of the fingerprint registration requirement for issuance of Umrah visa online for pilgrims coming to Makkah Al-Mukarramah from five countries. Recommend : Umrah visa has been extended to 90 days from 30 days
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah explained that the 5 countries are
* Britain
* Kuwait
* Tunisia
* Bangladesh and
* Malaysia Most Viewed : 4 cases covered under Umrah health insurance policy
- The aim of the decision is to ease the entry procedures through the Kingdom's ports, and to improve the digital experience of pilgrims.
Fingerprint registration is possible by downloading the "Saudi Visa Bio" application on their smartphones from Apple Store and Google Play Store.
- The Ministry explained the steps for registering their biometric fingerprints.
1. Determine the type of Visa.

3. Taking a picture of the face from front camera and matching it with the personal image on the passport.
