Health specialist warns against Sleeping in this timings as it leads to Obesity and Diabetes


Obesity and family medicine consultant in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Saleh Al-Rajhi warned against sleeping during the afternoon and sunset times, as this promotes serious health damage.







During his telephonic interview on Al-Ekhbariya channel, Al-Rajhi said that sleeping in the afternoon and sunset times is very harmful and leads to several diseases like obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure.

- He said that, many sleep at this time thinking that, it is the time for nap, but the correct thing is that the time for nap is the hour before noon prayer. See Also : Reasons for Vitamin D deficiency in the body

- Al-Rajhi continued and explained that, human body has a specific biological clock, which is from after the Fajr prayer until the Maghrib prayer, in which physical activity like work, movement and eating is desirable.





- Earlier this, the consultant of diseases and sleep disorders, Dr. Saleh Al-Damas said that the prime sleep timing that corresponds to the body's biological clock. The optimal sleeping position is 7 continuous hours at night and not divided throughout the day.

- The consultant further explained that, the person who sleeps for 7 hours during the night is better than the one who sleeps less than this rate throughout the entire day. Recommend : Eating 1 meal per day is one of the cause of High Blood Pressure
