Alcohol is not allowed to be sold in duty-free shops in Kingdom - ZATCA
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) in Saudi Arabia has confirmed that alcohol will not be allowed to be sold in duty-free shops, as per the rules and requirements for the establishment of duty-free shops. Similar : Saudi Arabia clarifies its stand on Alcohol consumption
This came in response to an inquiry, in which the ZATCA said, alcohol is one of the substances that are not allowed to be sold in duty-free markets of the Kingdom.
- The Zakat, Tax and Customs authority continued and said, this is according to the rules and regulations of establishing free markets. Which allows travelers to purchase goods and products that are allowed to be traded in Saudi Arabia. See Also : Al-Ula is among 7 wonders of the world
-The official Gazette published the details of these rules, which will come into force after 30 days.
