Employers are responsible for the fee of Changing Iqama profession of Expat workers - MHRSD
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia has restated that, employer is responsible for the paying the fees of changing profession on iqama for expatriate workers in the Kingdom.
The Ministry also confirmed that employers are responsible to pay the fees of several matters for expatriate (non-Saudi) workers, including the following.
* Iqama Fee and its Renewal fee Similar : Iqama Fees for the Year 2023
* Work Permit and its Renewal fee
* Fines resulting from delaying Iqama or work permit renewals.
* Expat worker ticket costs to their home country, after the end of the contract between the employer and worker.
- The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) further explained that,
* A worker deserves to get an experience certificate, after the end of the work contract without any charges, and the certificate must clarify the date of joining and ending in the work, as well as the last salary the worker received.
