Companies need to document Workers contracts online through Qiwa within the mentioned period - MHRSD
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia highlighted the need to stick to documenting workers contracts online through Qiwa portal. Trending : A worker has right to complaint if his salary differs from the mentioned in his contract
The Ministry explained the percentage of commitment required to document work contract from the total employees of the company as per each quarter of the Year 2023, which is in the following,
* 20% in the first quarter
* 50% in the second quarter of the Year 2023 and
* 80% in the third quarter of this year.
- This service from Qiwa platform allows employers to create and terminate employee contracts online completely, it includes all types new and existing contracts, it allows to upload and update information on private sector workers contracts, as well as verify the validity of their contract information. - The MHRSD said that a worker can approve or reject the contract or request to modify through his account in Qiwa, after the creation of the employment contract by the company, highlighting that if the two parties (Employer and Employee) agrees, the contract is considered to be documented by the Ministry of Human Resources.
Steps to create contract on the Qiwa platform :
1. Login with the company credentials.
2. Choose the establishment account. Read : Sick Leave in Saudi Labor Law
3. Go to Electronic Services.
4. Create a new contract.
5. Enter the verification code sent to the Mobile and verify.
6. Management and Documentation of contracts.
7. Enter employee data.
8. Enter the contract details.
