Public bus service in Jeddah reaches the north terminal of the King Abdulaziz International Airport
King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) and the Balad city center of Jeddah will now be connected by an expanded route, according to the Jeddah Transport Company. In collaboration with Jeddah Airports Company and the Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO), the Jeddah Transport Company started providing the express bus service in April 2022.

- The route comprises 3 stops, the first at Flamingo Mall on Prince Majed Street, the second near Al-Andalus Mall, and the third in the Baghdadiya 7 district on Madinah Road, in addition to the airport and SAPTCO stations in Al-Balad.
- The company's goal is to improve public transportation in Jeddah and do its best to accommodate all societal groups at a cost of SR20. Also, it will give travelers a variety of options for getting to and from the airport.

- The departure and arrival portions of the airport terminals will be designated by Jeddah Airports Company as an unique bus parking space. Also, the company will set up a waiting area in front of the bus stops in the arrivals area.
- In addition to spaces dedicated for those with special needs and empty spaces for luggage, this buses were designed to accommodate 33 passengers.
