The National Campaign for Energy Consumption (Taqa) in Saudi Arabia said that turning off the vehicle's engine, when stopping for long periods of time is an important factor to save on fuel consumption. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Instagram
The Campaign called for searching for a fuel economy card, when buying a vehicle, as it is ideal guide for the vehicle's fuel efficiency. Stating that, it is an ideal way to compare several types of vehicles from different companies of the same category and choose the best one to save fuel.
- Verify the fuel economy card data is correct or not through app, choose the green level on fuel economy card. Use the manufacturer's recommended engine oil, use maps to reduce and save time and fuel consumption, warm up the car for no more than 30 seconds, avoid loading the car with excess weight, maintain it regularly and avoid frequent acceleration and deceleration.
