- The application, which can be downloaded from the "Apple Store" or "Google Play" stores, allows Umrah performers to check the Ramadan Umrah dates that are available based on capacity. They may then select the dates that work best for them and apply for the permit. The permit for visitors from overseas also needs a valid visa at the time the reservation is made.

- Saudi citizens and resident expats may also apply for permits through the "Tawakkalna" application, provided that their health status is always free of an active Coronavirus (Covid-19) infection and that they are not in contact with someone who is infected.
