The ministry listed 6 benefits of the Stop-over Transit visa on its official Twitter account, including

3. Issuance of Transit visa immediately, without any charge from the airline, after booking the ticket.
4. The Transit visa have them validity of 90 days from the date of issuance.

The ministry also stated that there are 3 ways to receive this Stop-over Transit visa,
* By purchasing a flight ticket and submitting an application through Saudi Airlines and flynas.
* By having a visa issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through their Unified National visa platform and
* Receiving a visa via registered email.
