Indian pilgrim heart stopped while performing Umrah and the Makkah Red Crescent team saves him
A Saudi Red Crescent ambulance team in Makkah Al-Mukarramah was able to save an Indian tourist who was performing Umrah in the Grand Mosque by restoring his heartbeat, after his pulse stopped during his pilgrimage. Read : Umrah visa validity begins from this moment
Dr. Mustafa bin Jamil Baljoun, the Makkah branch's director, said, "The medical deportation, command and control room of the authority received a notification at 9:44 AM yesterday, stating that there was a case suffering from fainting and stopping of the heart while performing Umrah (the ritual of Safa Marwa "Sa'i") at the track of wheelchairs at the Makkah Grand Mosque."

- He highlighted that the ambulance personnel responded right away in accordance with the procedure used in such situations and started performing CPR using a shock device till the pulse came back.
